Try this protein-packed banana bread—you’d never guess it’s secretly full of the good stuff. It’s soft, satisfying, and feels like a treat… but with ingredients that help keep you full and energised. Quick to make. Easy to freeze. Perfect for busy days.
Protein-Packed Banana Bread
Makes 1 loaf
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
2 eggs
½ cup vanilla or unflavoured protein powder (your fave works great)
1 ½ cups almond flour
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1–2 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
½ cup chopped walnuts or dark choc chips (optional)
Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
2️⃣ In a large bowl, mash the bananas and mix in eggs, vanilla, and maple syrup if using.
3️⃣ Stir in the protein powder, almond flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
4️⃣ Fold through the walnuts or choc chips if you’re adding them.
5️⃣ Pour the batter into a lined or greased loaf pan.
6️⃣ Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7️⃣ Let cool, slice, and enjoy!
