What I’d Say If We Sat Down For Coffee…
If we were sitting down together right now, you might expect me to start talking about food. Or workouts. Or hormones.
But I wouldn’t. Not right away.
Because before any of that, I’d want to know how you’re feeling.
I’ve been where you might be—pushing through exhaustion, doing all the “right” things, but still dragging by mid-afternoon. Second-guessing every choice. Wondering if I needed to be stricter, try harder, or just accept that this was how it was going to be from now on.
Here’s what I’ve learned: “Trying harder” isn’t the answer.
There was a time I lived off caffeine and willpower, thinking more discipline was the fix. But the more I pushed, the worse I felt. It wasn’t until I stepped back and started listening to what my body actually needed that things started to shift.
What I wish someone had told me sooner is this:
Your body’s not broken.
It’s not fighting you.
It’s trying to keep you going.
The fatigue, the cravings, the brain fog—those aren’t random. They’re signals. And when you stop trying to outwork your body and start working with it, everything feels more doable.
You don’t need more willpower. You need more energy. More clarity.
A way to feel like yourself again—without burning out.
And if we were sitting across from each other right now, I’d tell you: You deserve that!
