Small win tonight 💪 🏅
My turning point to finally committing to a healthy lifestyle was trying on my work uniform before I returned to work and the size small didn’t fit me (the size small fit me at 8 months pregnant)!
Well tonight, I thought I’d give them small pants a try and guess what?
THEY FIT ! COMFORTABLY !!!!
Even with the small setbacks last month, of being sick.
I know I have a long way to go. But I was feeling good after our work out this morning and fitting in my pants is icing on the cake.
Thank you soooo much Kylie ❤️💪🏅

My meal prep for the week was fruit salad to put with Greek yogurt, tuna avocado and chickpea salad for lunch and Mexican mince with black beans, brown rice and veggies for dinner.
I’m all ready to grab a meal from the fridge knowing I have a busy week at work.

Common issues women face:
Lack of knowledge about appropriate food choices, current daily food intake and proper portion sizes.
Conflicting messages about body image and dieting.
Hormonal fluctuations throughout the menstrual cycle making it challenging to stick to a strict eating plan.
Balancing responsibilities with meal planning and preparation.
Budget restrictions and food choices.
Emotional eating or using food as a coping mechanism for stress, anxiety, or other emotions.
Food cravings making it hard to stick to an eating plan.
Cultural or social norms around food, influencing dietary choices.
Feelings of deprivation and l0w energy on restrictive diets.
Lacking in performance in sport or activity because of restrictive eating.
Unable to stick to a diet plan because a diet is too restrictive, they don’t like the food on a meal plan or favourite foods are cut out.
Overeating or undereating because food intake is not matched or tracked to performance or body composition goals.
Lack of understanding of nutritional value of foods.
Feeling weak, tired, exhausted, always hungry or any other physiological response to the body not getting the essential vitamins and minerals from food that it needs to function.

Educating on Food Choices: Teaches about the nutritional content of different foods, empowering informed decision-making.
Customising for Individual Needs: Allows for personalized adjustments based on individual goals, preferences, and lifestyle.
Tracking Progress: Enables monitoring of food intake and progress towards health goals.
Does this sound familiar?
Demi was eager to return to exercise to lose weight and feel fit again after having a baby!
Demi was not used to doing lots of physical activity pre pregnancy and she didn’t really understand what foods she needed to eat to stay healthy but also support her energy levels whilst exercising, working night shifts in an Emergency Health Department and trying to lose weight.
Demi wanted to get back to her pre baby weight whilst getting fitter, stronger, becoming an active woman but not depleting her energy levels any more than they were already.
When Demi started her fitness journey with me she had a one year old, was working nightshifts but also trying to make exercise a part of her life. She knew through discussions with me that restrictive diet wasn’t the answer, even though many social media influencers where telling her otherwise. Demi just wanted a simple strategy to learn what to eat, how much to eat, when to eat and be sure it would assist her weight loss goals.
This is an all too familiar scenerio, healthy eating can seem confusing in a world where the diet industry wants to sell you the latest diet trends!

I wanted Demi to feel strong and confident in her body, without feeling deprived of food or exhausted after workouts, whilst she worked towards getting back to her pre baby weight.

We worked on making INTENTIONAL and PURPOSEFUL food choices, ensuring Demi was getting the right amount of macronutrients (protein, carbs and fats) from the five food groups, to ensure she was getting the nutrient requirements essential for good health, whilst reaching her goals. Each group provides unique nutrients: fruits and veggies for vitamins, grains for energy, proteins for tissue repair, dairy for calcium, and fats for cell growth.
Demi learned what tracking macros could tell her; how much energy she was eating and burning, what nutrients she was consuming, and the best portion sizes for her body and goals.
Over time, Demi started to realise how different macro breakdowns impacted her. Like more proteins or fewer carbs or more fats gave her more or less energy and ideal body composition success.
As we work through the FEMFITMACRO Program, you will learn how to prepare several meals at once and keep them stored in portion-sized reusable containers to always have healthy meals ready to go…
