Spend It, Save It, Invest It, Waste It

Energy is a lot like money.

You can spend it, save it, invest it—or waste it. And let’s be honest… most people don’t even know where it’s going.

So let’s play a little game: Drain or Gain?

❌ Scrolling socials for “a quick break”? Drain.
❌ Skipping meals or grabbing junk? That’s energy debt—you will pay later.
❌ A to-do list longer than your arm? You’re withdrawing more than you deposit.
❌ Caffeine instead of proper sleep? That’s like using Afterpay on your energy.

Now compare that to…

✅ Moving your body? Energy investment (the return is real).
✅ Drinking enough water? Keeps your energy bank account balanced.
✅ Morning sunlight? Boosts your circadian rhythm = natural energy.
✅ Protein with meals? Avoids that 3pm crash and blood sugar rollercoaster.

See the shift?

Most women I coach aren’t “lazy” or lacking willpower—they’re just leaking energy in all the wrong places.

Here’s how to take back control of your energy budget:

🔎 First, audit your energy. Like your finances, track where it’s going for a day. What drains you? What boosts you?
✂️ Then, cut the leaks. If it doesn’t serve you, stop spending your energy on it.
💡 Finally, invest in high-return habits. Like:

  • Swapping an afternoon coffee for a 10-minute walk

  • Starting your day with water before caffeine

  • Adding 5-minute breath or stretch breaks instead of pushing through

💬 Try it for a day—and let me know what you notice! Or better yet, join us in the Strong Women’s Academy where we focus on building energy, not burning out. 🔥
